Privacy Policy

The short version. We don't store the documents you submit for screening — they're processed to produce findings and then discarded.
We collect only what's needed to run accounts and respond to you: your name and email (from Google/Microsoft sign-in) and anything you send through the contact form.
We don't sell your data, and we run no advertising or analytics trackers.
This Privacy Policy explains how Great Basin Software LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Dry Run inspection-readiness screening service (the "Service") at ludusready.com. Ludus Ready is a trading name of Great Basin Software LLC.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, our authentication provider provides your name and email address so we can create and identify your account.
- Documents you submit. The text you paste or load for screening, and any supporting documents you provide as context. See "How documents are handled" below.
- Contact information. If you use our contact form, the name, email, company, and message you choose to provide.
- Technical data. Basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) generated by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
How documents are handled
This is central to how the Service works:
- Documents you submit for screening are processed transiently to generate per-criterion findings and are not retained by us after your session. We do not build a database of your documents.
- When you load a file, its text is extracted in your browser; the file itself is not uploaded — only the extracted text is sent to run the review.
- In live (non-demo) mode, the text of your document and any supporting documents is transmitted to our AI provider, Anthropic, solely to perform the screening. Under Anthropic's API terms, that content is not used to train its models.
- The offline demo runs on fixed sample data and sends nothing to any model.
How we use information
- To authenticate you and provide access to the Service.
- To run the screening and return findings.
- To respond to inquiries you send us.
- To maintain the security, integrity, and reliability of the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Service providers we use
We share information only with the providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed:
- WorkOS — authentication and account identity (stores your name and email).
- Anthropic — AI processing of submitted document text in live mode.
- Railway — application hosting.
- GitHub — used to manage inquiries submitted through our contact form.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the Service.
Cookies and local storage
- A session cookie to keep you signed in, set by our authentication flow.
- A preference stored in your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme.
- We do not use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking cookies.
Data retention
- Documents: not retained after processing.
- Account data: retained while your account is active.
- Contact messages: retained as needed to respond to and keep a record of your inquiry.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live — for example, under the GDPR in the EEA/UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California — you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, and to object to certain uses. To make a request, reach us through the contact form, and we'll respond consistent with applicable law.
Where information is processed
The Service is operated in the United States, and our providers (WorkOS, Anthropic, Railway, GitHub) process data in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information is processed there.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, and our stateless handling of documents limits what could be exposed. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above.
